Transfer of Registration

Before granting a transfer of registration to an applicant possessing a qualification included in Schedule II, III & IV of the IMCC Act, 1970, if the Parishad/Board objects to the registration and provides reasons for the same, the matter would be reconsidered. Such transfer of registration could be cancelled if so decided. Such transfer, for all purposes, shall be effective from the qualification date immediately. However, to avoid malpractices, all such qualifications may be verified later, and if found to be false, the registration may be cancelled.

Since the practice of medicine requires upgradation of knowledge from time to time, in the case of a person who did not get themselves registered within 5 years after passing the qualifying examination, such a case should normally be put to the Government for guidance before the registration is transferred from the register of the Board of Ayurveda & Unani System of Medicine to the register of the Parishad.
